Hello and welcome to my blog! 

My friends call me Eggs and I'm a college freshman. I created this blog as a space to finally share my thoughts and opinions on the things I love with others in a somewhat entertaining way. Between classes, I find the time to enjoy anime, play games, and even learn Japanese, which are some of the topics I write about. I also write about writing, heh.

That One Annoying Day Where Everyone Gets All Touchy-Feely

Near the beginning of the month, I walked into a CVS and they already had out all the chocolates and candies and whatever else they want you to waste your money on. Like, come on now.  This year, I must admit, I was excited for Valentine's. I had put away my "haha, I'm forever alone" catchphrase and was ready to show some love. However, my efforts did not provide the results I was expecting... But it's a rather complicated and private story that I would prefer to not share. Just know that my "haha, I'm forever alone" jokes are back. While sobbing over my failed romantic endeavors, I've got to wondering what the heck Valentine's Day is even about. Like how did it get started? Why does it have to cause me so much anguish? Unfortunately, Google can't really help with the latter, but I was able to get some answers for the former. About the state of the blog...

Enjoy this nice monke pic.                  Source: Unsplash This isn't an article, just more like a random post thing. I'm surprised that this blog is getting any sort of reads. I kind of stopped writing it a while ago because I couldn't decide to write about next. I doubt that anyone would want to read me talk about anything that I don't do any research on, and I sort of despise researching things, so there's just simply been zero articles. I would have liked to talk about some of the anime I have watched, some of the games I've played, but it's been quite a while since I've looked at some of those things and my memory only works so well. I would have been forced to do research... It would have also been cool to have like, some guest writers on here, but that would only work if this blog was more famous... But I did get accepted to write blog articles for the organization School Simplified. So maybe you'll see some of my writ...
